More than four years have passed since Pure entered the in-car digital radio market with the Pure Highway, which allowed motorists to listen to DAB radio on the car's existing FM radio.
The updated version, the Highway 300Di, claims to feature best-in-class digital reception by using an external aerial rather than the simple wire antenna - as featured on the original Highway.
Professionally installed
Pure has been one of the leading brands in table-top digital radios for several years, and in 2007 the Pure Highway was launched. This time around Pure has teamed up with Halfords to offer to get the product out to the mass market. This will be for a limited time only, we've been advised 3 months ( from December 2011 ) so if you can hang on that long Autosounds will be able to supply the unit professionally install it for you.
The installation process means there are no loose wires around the car and the only signs of any kind of fitting are the main control unit, which features a clear OLED screen to display programme information, an external glass mount aerial and a small interface box that can be hidden in the glovebox or under a seat.
iPod and iPhone compatible
The Highway 300Di has dual turners to help give users access to searchable stations at all times and remove any stations with no coverage. It also features live pause and rewind capabilities to ensure you don't miss a beat of your favourite music, although this is limited to eight minutes of playback.
There is a USB port to play back any audio stored on your flash drive and it is also iPhone, iPod and iPad compliant, so you can plug in and have full control of music stored on any of those devices as well.

Autosounds can offer a wide range of in car DAB solutions, we are continuoulsy testing every different product so rather than psuh you onto one specifi product we will give you a completely independent view of what we believe to be the best products available to suit your requirements.
