The nuvi 2x5 series features a fast 333 Mhz Microprocessor which greatly enhances the map drawing and routing capability. In addition, satellite reception is even faster than before thanks to Garmin's new HotFix(TM: 105.09, -3.99, -3.65%) feature which automatically calculates and stores critical satellite information and can use that information to quickly calculate a position without waiting for data collection from the satellites.

Navigate With Ease
nüvi 205W comes preloaded with City Navigator® NT map data for UK and Ireland. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with turn-by-turn voice directions, 2-D or 3-D maps and smooth map updates as you navigate. Its digital elevation maps show you shaded contours at higher zoom levels, giving you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. In addition, nüvi 205W accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. With HotFix™ satellite prediction, nüvi calculates your position faster to get you there quicker.
Take It With You
Like the rest of the nüvi 2x5-series, nüvi 205W sports a sleek, slim design and fits comfortably in your pocket or purse. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or foot. With its "Where Am I?" emergency locator, you always know your location. Simply tap the screen to get your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and fuel stations.
Go Beyond Navigation
Navigation is just the beginning. nüvi 205W includes many travel tools including JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more. With photo navigation, you can download Google™ Panoramio pictures via our Garmin Connect Photos website and navigate to them. The 205W is compatible with optional enhanced MSN® Direct content and our free

If you feel that you would like to have your purchase professionally installed by one of our fully qualified engineers, this can be arranged at your home or your work place anywhere throughout the UK.
Being members of MESF, FITAS, Thatcham and The Safe Contractor Scheme have enabled Autosounds to develop our workforce and maintain the necessary standards to carry out installations for our customers whether you are a business or a consumer.
Arrange an Installation
Arranging an installation couldn't be easier. Simply call us on 0191 2736100 or email bookings@autosounds.co.uk
From here we will take all the pre-booking information that we need. With this information to hand, we will call our engineers who cover your post-code and see what dates and times they are available to carry out your installation.
We have between 2 and 5 engineers for every post-code so we can ensure a quick turn around.
Once we have all the possible installation times, we will call you back and see which suites your needs the most & make the booking, payment for the product and installation can be done on our secure website.
The installer will then arrive at your home or work place with his tools and install your equipment within a couple of hours and then demonstrate how to use it.
