Upgrades a vehicle that has a Thatcham Category 2 immobiliser already installed to a full Thatcham Category 1 alarm system. This is the type of system that is fitted to most modern motorhomes where the vehicle is CANBUS and the base chassis unit has a immobiliser fitted by the chassis manufacturer, typically Ford, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco.

If you feel that you would like to have your purchase professionally installed by one of our fully qualified engineers, this can be arranged at your home or your work place anywhere throughout the UK.
Being members of MESF, FITAS, Thatcham and The Safe Contractor Scheme have enabled Autosounds to develop our workforce and maintain the necessary standards to carry out installations for our customers whether you are a business or a consumer.

Arranging an installation couldn't be easier. Simply call us on 0191 2736100 or email bookings@autosounds.co.uk
From here we will take all the pre-booking information that we need. With this information to hand, we will call our engineers who cover your post-code and see what dates and times they are available to carry out your installation.
We have between 2 and 5 engineers for every post-code so we can ensure a quick turn around.
Once we have all the possible installation times, we will call you back and see which suites your needs the most & make the booking, payment for the product and installation can be done on our secure website.
The installer will then arrive at your home or work place with his tools and install your equipment within a couple of hours and then demonstrate how to use it.
