Ultrasonic
Reversing Sensors
The top quality ultrasonic reversing
(parking) sensors inform the driver of
the distance between the vehicle and the
obstacle.
The ultrasonic reversing sensors
feature DSM (Dynamic Scanning Memory) -
The
unique and patented DSM feature prevents
'False alarms' from tow hooks, rear
mounted tyres and other ancillary
equipment that intrude into the first
40cm of each sensor's detection zone. BACKSCAN starts scanning the area to the
rear of the sensors as soon as reverse
gear is engaged and, within the first
half second, the DSM feature 'registers'
the position of all objects within 40cm
of each sensor. As the vehicle begins to
reverse, BACKSCAN ignores feedback from
any objects 'registered' by DSM that do
not move relative to the sensors.
