Why do you need Parksafes reverse parking sensor kit?
Parksafe is a parking sensor kit that allows you to park
and detects obstacles behind you without damaging
your car.
Parksafe is a parking sensor kit that can be fitted to
any vehicle, whether new or used.
Parksafe offer a range of sensors from the
traditional audible alert or a combined display and
can be fitted front and rear of you vehicle,
offering you a total parking control.
Parksafe provides safety for children, pets,
pedestrians and low objects, giving you peace of
mind when manoeuvring in populated places.
Parksafe protects your No Claim bonus, Avoid damage
to your own and other vehicles. Avoid expensive
repair bills and loss of no claims bonus. Most
Insurance policies have a typical excess of around
£250 that you would otherwise have to pay.
How the Parksafe sensor unit works
Rear System
As the vehicle reverses towards an object the
reversing sensor kit will give off an
audible buzz, which is mounted inside the rear of the
vehicle starts sounding at 3 beeps per second when
the object is closer than 1.67 metros to the rear of
the vehicle. As the vehicle gets closer to the
object the beeping frequency increases from 5 to 8
beeps per second. When the vehicle is about 30 cm
from the object the beeping becomes constant
(definitely time to stop!). As a result, the driver
always knows exactly where the bumper is positioned
in relation to an object. The reversing sensor kit is powered
off the reversing lights circuit in the vehicle
so is only activated when reversing.
Front System
The front units are wired in such a way that when
ever you switch the ignition on, so is the Parksafe
sensor
Control unit. It works on the same principle as the
Rear. The visual display unit shows bars when coming
together as you get closer to the obstacle. At any
time the front sensor unit can be de-activated by an
on/off switch mounted on the dashboard of the
vehicle.
I am a good Driver
In addition to this, modern design on new cars makes
it very difficult to gauge just how close you are to
an object,
Being able to reverse safely has nothing to do
with you being a good or Bad driver.
Parksafe can offer a complete solution and assist
you in making parking easy and protect that No Claim
Bonus
Parksafe can protect your typical Insurance excess
of £250.00 that you would otherwise have to pay.
